French Society of Neonatology
Association of neonatology professionals
Who are we?
The French Society of Neonatology (SFN) is a learned society bringing together all professionals working around the newborn.
Its missions are:
-
to support changes in practices,
-
to participate in the organization of neonatology care
-
to give the specialty a visibility already acquired by the establishment of the Diploma of Complementary Specialized Studies in Neonatology.
The SFN aims to be a space for dialogue between the different players in neonatology and with the supervisory bodies.
It draws up recommendations on therapies, prescriptions and the organization of care.
It contributes to the training of professionals and the evaluation of practices.
She shares reflections around ethics in perinatal care.
It defends the professions of neonatal medicine, child care pediatricians and auxiliaries, and represents them within various government bodies.
She works on the promotion of codification and marker acts specific to neonatology.
It encourages and supports research in neonatology.
